In suggestion of Hansgeorg Schmeiser, the first flutist of the "Orchester der Wiener Volksoper", the present composition is published in the frame of a four part edition of works for flute and piano. They are based on the first printing, which is kept in the "Wiener Stadt- und Landesbibliothek", the "Vienna City Archives".
At some few passages, the editor carefully transcribed dynamic, articulations or phrasing. Obvious printing errors have been corrected and the notation was assimilated to the standard of today. The original character of the works is maintained.
These pieces should challenge trained flutists and amuse experts and amateurs of pretentious camber music.
